Safeguard CBS as a "Sanctuary" Space

This Giving Tuesday, safeguard CBS as a "sanctuary" space with a gift toward security upgrades.  

Security is of paramount concern at Congregation Beth Shalom, particularly in light of the recent Jewish community attacks and rising concern of anti-semitic acts.  If there is hatred of any sort, no one is immune.  Being pro-active is the best way we know to safeguard our community.

At CBS, we are so grateful to have the support of an amazing team of security volunteers.  Over the years we have consistently made upgrades to ensure the safety of our congregants, visitors, and building.  

However, there is much additional work to be done, and we are requesting your support to help ensure everyone’s safety.  

The synagogue should be a "sanctuary" space, a safe refuge, a place where people can come together to learn, worship, and socialize.

Your generosity at this time will go toward the security upgrades needed to fulfill our vision of a "Makom Kodesh" (holy  space) for our Jewish community that provides for peaceful gathering.
