American Friends of Promotora de las Bellas Artes

Promotora de las Bellas Artes is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that has worked since 1992 to reduce the inequality gap in the Tijuana-San Diego region.

Our programs focus on providing opportunities to children and adolescents (NNA) in marginalized and disadvantaged social contexts. We seek to help them strengthen their cognitive and socio-emotional skills, thus contributing to improve their performance and school retention. We believe that artistic education is one of the fundamental axes for the integral formation of the individuals in society due to its importance in the development of sensitivity and creative capacity.
