Power of Predestiny Ministries Incorporated

Power of Predestiny Ministries P.O.P. is a nonprofit youth organization. Our Mission is to work with the community to empower the youth with Faith, Education, Training and Values that will help them overcome obstacles in life as well as motivate and prepare them for success. We create in and out of school programs and events to inspire and give incentive to do well in school and for the community including helping with safety from gun violence. My nephew was shot and killed on Thanksgiving morning in 2021. He was not in a gang he was a unique creative young man who painted art, created music and dressed different from other youths, he was 22 yrs. old. My sister had him at 40 yrs. old, we are all devastated. She asked me to create an event for his birthday, we partner every year with Everytown, Moms Demand Action and Students Demand Action for The Stop The Gun Violence Community Outreach in honor of Von Cratic (my nephew) and all gun violence victims. Partnering with other organizations and local businesses giving info and resources to help the community.

We are not a Church, we are a ministry to the youth and community, As a nonprofit our commitment to support communities who are in need of enrichment is an integral part of our goals. We concentrate on neighborhoods that have lacked Equality and Inclusion far too long. We partner with like minded organizations who have a commitment to recognizing and eradicating ethnic and gender oppression and racism.

Our biggest goal is to gain two Community Centers one in Ypsilanti or Ann Arbor Michigan the other in Chicago Illinois with recording studios and art rooms in honor of Von Cratic. Also having rooms for tutoring, meetings, a computer lab, kitchen and basketball court for the youth and families to have a safe environment to learn, grow and play.

We couldn't do what we do without the help thru the years of United Way, Walmart, Target, Sams Club, Kroger's, local businesses and individuals giving donations to P.O.P.. We are currently trying to create our e-commerce page to help become sustainable in between grants. We hope you feel we are a worthwhile nonprofit to donate and assist being able to continue and achieve more than before.

It is our belief that with the proper guidance our children will find hope and knowledge to become successful members of society.                   Our Vision is to transform and raise a new generation of young adults whose esteem allows them to be successful members of society.           "Changing Lives by Faith and Action"
