Slavens PTA

PTA - Parent Teacher Association

Who We Are:

The Slavens PTA exists as a liaison between Slavens school and the student-parent community. It is our aim to facilitate parental involvement in student education while supporting the vision of Slavens teachers and administrators. It is our goal to provide a rich academic experience while nurturing students to become compassionate, ethical and productive global citizens. We foster our special Slavens community and the wellbeing of our children by encouraging parent involvement through volunteering, supporting our teachers, and collaborating with school administrators.

What We Do:

Slavens PTA advocates for our children through the following goals 

❖ Creating a sustainable method to fund educational resources, including but not limited to, second educators, school counselors and additional staff positions as needed; 

❖ Maintaining effective communication within the Slavens community; 

❖ Promote a culture of parent volunteerism; 

❖ Fostering collaboration and partnership with faculty; 

❖ Delivering enriching programs for Slavens students and their families; 

❖ Providing classroom resources to teachers.

What We Need:

There are many ways to get involved in our PTA, including donating your time or donating funds. Our PTA is only as strong as its members. Our membership includes parents, teachers, administrators, students, and community members.
