Southern Nevada Black Educators Initiative

SNBEI was established in January of 2022 with a clear mission: to reduce Clark County's racial educational attainment gaps by focusing on the recruitment and retention of culturally responsive, highly-skilled Black teachers. Our organization is committed to empowering Black educators and aspiring teachers through a multifaceted approach that encompasses legislation, meaningful professional development, mental health support, and critical mentorship.
