WHO WE ARE

Totality Martial Arts (TMA) offers a safe, fun, and effective mix of traditional martial arts, modern combat sports, yoga, and fitness for all ages—from energetic 4-year-olds to lifelong learners

Since opening in 2018, TMA has become a trusted local resource for Rappahannock families and individuals seeking positive, healthy outlets close to home. In 2021, we became a 501(c)(3) nonprofit to expand programs, reduce financial barriers, and ensure that more children and adults in our rural community can build confidence, resilience, and lifelong skills .

Why We’re Fundraising Now

Many of you know—and have supported—our popular Youth Martial Arts & Yoga program, which we’ve offered for four years at free or reduced cost to many local families. We work hard to keep our classes and programs affordable while also paying our instructors a living wage. In the past, we have relied on grants and individual donations; however, current economic conditions have increased competition for local grant funding. Smaller organizations like TMA can be disproportionately affected when demand rises and available funds are limited.

How You Can Make a Difference

Please support TMA with a donation to help us sustain our current level of programming and keep access within reach for families across our community. If you’re able, consider becoming a sustaining donor—recurring support helps us plan, budget, and serve more participants year-round.

Your donation directly supports free and reduced-cost youth participation, safe training equipment, and instructor compensation—so we can keep offering high-quality programs (including our free community Qigong class) year-round.
