Ashley fundraising for Kentucky Green Schools!

Today’s generation is the first to grow up indoors, spending less than 1% of their time outdoors. I want my kids to grow up in a world where they are immersed in the outdoors... running through the woods, climbing trees, catching frogs in the pond, picking blackberries, feeling the dirt between their toes...learning how the world works.

Can you imagine how much more engaged our kids would be if they were learning science hands-on, outside, through the world around them?  Or if they really understood where their food and water comes?  I want that not just for my own children but for all children.

Your donation will go to support our newest initiative, Kentucky Green Schools, to create sustainable and healthy learning environments for students by implementing green practices in schools. Your donation will inspire students to take active steps toward creating a greener and healthier world—starting with their school. Our program guides students through examining their school grounds and school’s energy use, waste and recycling, water consumption, and overall environmental quality.
