Help Lucy Field Build a Better World

Dear Friends and Family,

This coming April, I will be participating in a service trip to the Dominican Republic with an organization called Builders Beyond Borders (B3). B3 is a non-profit organization that travels to different countries in Latin America to help communities build desperately need facilities, including schools and houses. 

This year, we will be building a much needed dining hall, bathrooms, and offices for a school in the village of Batey Palmarejo. This school was created because children in this area had no access to the national education system. 

Through B3, I also spent time this past fall working on service projects in our local community. 

The reason I am writing to you is because we need to raise our own money in order to be able to go on this service trip. The money goes towards our travel expenses, and the materials, supplies and tools we need to help build the school facilities.
