Cooper was wandering a rural road in West Virginia when he was hit by a car and left for dead. We cannot imagine the pain he was in. This poor boy made his way to the side of the road where he could have died from shock and cold. Thankfully someone found him and got him to the shelter. But once there they were finding it very difficult to manage his pain. And they also found out he would most certainly need surgery - not something a small rural shelter can afford
So we agreed to take this sweet boy in and we just got word that the orthopedist had a cancelation and can fit him for surgery RIGHT AWAY.
This surgery is $2,500 plus another $500 for meds and follow-up care. We desperately need to get him out of pain and on the road to healing. He deserves this. PLEASE help with a donation of any size.
