Help Cooper Schleef Build a Better World

I have been volunteering with B3 locally for the past 3 years and traveled to Guatemala across my Spring Break in 2022 and Ecuador earlier this year to work on community-building service projects.  In Guatemala, we helped to build a classroom and also a house for a large family that was destroyed in an earthquake.  In Ecuador, we built an aqua-culture tank system for the community that had a protein deficiency and to support themselves with an opportunity for income. 

This coming February, our team will travel to the Dominican Republic, where we will yet again help an underprivileged community with a major building project.  While I do not yet know the specifics of the build, I do know that we will be working alongside many in the community and getting to know them and their culture while we work. 

Builders Beyond Borders is a non-profit organization whose mission is to give teenagers the opportunity to engage in work projects that improve local & global communities, facilitate personal growth, cultural exchange, and ignite a lifelong passion for volunteerism.
