ON THE GROUND - YEAR END LIFESAVING IN REAL TIME

We are in EXTREME LIFE SAVING MODE this week as we near the end of 2024.

On the ground in Danville, VA where the local humane society kills 83% of the animals it takes in, our efforts in this community are more needed than ever. 

First, we have trapped 64 cats and are getting them lifesaving spay/neuter/vaccines/microchips that will make the upcoming winter tremendously easier for them. No kittens being born. No moms struggling to keep their families warm and safe.  

Any kittens or friendly sick or injured kitties we find we are taking with us to place into foster homes so they can restart their lives indoors - just in time for winter. :)

And then we are working overtime to take 43 animals from the Humane Society, saving them from needless euthanasia and making space for more animals who will enter the shelter. 

We desperately need funding for vaccines, medications, spay/neuter, transport and supplies to complete one of our most LIFESAVING WEEKS EVER. More than 125 animals are receiving help that no other organization is offering
