Darcy Deserves a Loving Home

Adorable Darcy is a 2 year old Beagle mix. Sadly, Darcy had been found living as a stray in rural Virginia. This sweet girl likely had to endure some very difficult days and nights alone. Stray dogs spend their time desperately searching for food and water, and also staying alert to avoid dangers such as other animals and cars. Darcy is lucky to be alive and thankfully was found and brought into a rural VA shelter. She is a such a sweet and happy girl that the shelter staff thought her family may come looking for her. Unfortunately, not a single person has come forward to claim or adopt this pretty girl. Darcy continues to sit alone in her cage waiting for her turn to be saved. Homeward Trails can't bear to watch this girl grow any older in the shelter and wants to bring her to the DC area immediately.
