I will be in residence and volunteering at the PRC starting later this month, and I couldn't be more excited! The PRC gives these great animals sanctuary and a "forever home."
Coming up this month on October 15 is Giving Day for Apes, a 24-hour global fundraising competition to raise awareness and individual support for more than 30 qualified sanctuaries and rescue centers providing rehabilitation and long-term care to great apes and gibbons throughout Africa, Asia, and North America.
