Sweet Pup Was Surrendered

Muffin was recently surrendered to a rural shelter because her elderly owners had too many animals to care for. Muffin is shy, but sweet and the shelter has been a scary place for her. On top of that, she tested positive for heartworm disease, meaning she needs some extra TLC. That can be overwhelming for adopters in the rural community she comes from, meaning Muffin could continue to be overlooked.
