WINTER IS COMING! Buttercup loves her box stall but when it rains water comes right through the roof of Buttercup's shelter and into her stall. The plywood roof has rotted and Buttercup struggles to stay dry. The ground in her box stall floods and we work continually all winter long to drain it and give Buttercup a dry place to sleep.
The other horses: Smokey, Max, and Paddington, also have significant leaks in their shelters' roofs. Their shelters have corrugated galvanized steel roofs which are rusted and full of holes. The steel pipes that hold up these roofs are also rusty, rotted and need of repair.
These horses spend their days helping people become more relaxed, more confident, and more physically capable. On this Giving Tuesday, help us fund the materials needed to improve our horses' shelters roofs. Help us keep these horses dry and happy through the cold and wet winter season.
