Ariel Has Heartworm Disease

Ariel was found as a stray close to starvation and covered in ticks. When she arrived last week, she tested positive for heartworm disease on top of a tick-borne illness. It's no surprise that a pup in such rough shape didn't receive simple preventatives that could have protected her. Now she'll need lifesaving treatment - treatment with a big price tag.
