Today is NWA Day of Giving, and I'm asking you to consider donating to Haas Hall Academy.
Last fall was rough. My daughter had a really hard semester at Ramay Jr. High — the kind of hard that makes you worry about your kid and question everything. This semester, she started at Haas Hall, and it has been a completely different story.
The difference has been night and day. She walks in the door and belongs there. She's being challenged — real, rigorous, good challenge — and she's rising to it. And she finally feels seen by the people around her. After the semester we had, watching her thrive has been everything a parent hopes for.
Haas Hall is a tuition-free public school, but because of how charter school funding works, they receive significantly less per student than traditional public schools — up to 29.5% less than other NWA districts. Donations help fill that gap and fund things like scholarships for extracurriculars, transportation, technology, and anonymous assistance grants for students who need a little extra support.
If you've got a few dollars to give, today is a great day to do it. Every dollar goes directly toward keeping this school excellent and accessible for kids who need it.
