STORM UPDATE

The Community Food Pantry weathered the Milton hurricane with minimal damage, in fact, the building never lost power during the storm. Volunteers came in to help serve non-perishable bags of food Saturday morning (that is all we had available as we could not pick up store donations), and friends and neighbors came to clean up debris and start cutting up one large tree in the yard that was toppled during the storm.

We have begun normal operations as of Monday, October 14, but are extremely low on non-perishable items such as pasta and sauce, rice and beans, peanut butter and jelly, hearty meals, cereal, soups, canned vegetables, mac & cheese, tuna, peanut butter crackers, and any other non-perishable, unexpired snack or condiment.

If you have extra canned goods to spare, you may leave donations at any time in the big blue bins behind the fence at 13115 S. Village Dr., Tampa, FL  33618.
