Advocates Against Domestic Assault

Founded in 1983, Advocates Against Domestic Assault hereinafter referred to as (AADA) is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing essential and critical direct services to victims of domestic violence and/or sexual assault.  AADA continues to work toward building capacity to meet the needs of survivors from diverse culural backgrounds,

AADA's purpose and mission is: 

1. To provide a comprehensive range of immediate and on-going services to individuals, and families who are experiencing domestic violence and or sexual violence. 
2. That all victims that we serve shall be empowered to make their own decisions.
3.  That all services are individualized, strength based, and culturally sensitive. 
4. That AADA shall respect the personal privacy and confidential information received. 
5. That each client served will be treated with respect, dignity, kindness, and honesty.

AADA strives to provide victim centered and victim defined advocacy and services. Our approach is to meet survivors’ needs, AADA staff understands that trauma can alter the way a survivor perceives the world around them. Our goal remains to empower rather than overwelm survivors of domestic violence and/or sexual violence  and to provide a safe place to heal, and rebuild at their own pace.
