$10,000 Goal

Mama Bears Fighting Childhood Cancer (Mama Bears) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization supporting Northern California families with children up to 21 years old who are currently undergoing treatment for childhood cancer. We provide families whose child has an active cancer diagnosis with our Hospital Survival Wagon or Clinic Cart, based on the family's needs, filled with essential items to live more comfortably in the hospital or during long outpatient clinic visits.

Mama Bear's goal is to provide a Hospital Survival Wagon or Clinic Cart for every family with a child diagnosed with cancer and receiving treatment at one of the eight Northern California Children’s Hospital we serve, and to connect the parent to our community support groups to ensure no parent walks this journey alone and is immediately and sustainably supported with resources throughout their child’s cancer treatment journey.

Mama Bears is a volunteer-based organization, and all proceeds go directly to supporting a pediatric cancer family.

Our goal is to ensure that no parent walks this journey alone, and our motto is, “Carry your family, We’ll carry you!”
