This year marks the inaugural Pedal for Pride event. Jacob & I are so excited to join this small but mighty team of riders. Every ride comes with it’s share of challenges but we will conquer the miles together.
We have had the privelege to participate in the AIDS Lifecycle for the past 5 years. I remember when Jacob asked me if I wanted to ride 545 miles down the coast of California. Frankly, I thought he was nuts. I am so grateful that Ryanne was passionate and convinced Jacob that ALC was a worthwhile endeavor.
ALC has deepened my understanding of the AIDS crisis and connected me with incredible individuals from the LGBT community and beyond, forging friendships that span the nation.
We look forward to raising funds for the Affirmations LGBTQ+ Community Center. Having volunteered for many years, I know how difficult it can be to raise funds for charitable organizations.
