Two Tiny Hearts Looking for Love

Annie and Desie are two tiny puppies who should still be curled up safely beside their mother in a warm home, but instead they’ve been surrendered to a rural Virginia shelter because their owner couldn’t care for them after an accidental litter that never should have happened. Their mom was never given the basic care she deserved, never spayed, and now these babies are paying the price, confused, separated from everything they’ve ever known, and facing a future they can’t possibly understand. Desie and Annie don’t know why they don’t have a family, why no one is coming back for them, or why their world suddenly feels so cold and uncertain. At only 8 weeks old, they should be learning what love feels like, not what abandonment feels like. Homeward Trails is trying to save Annie and Desie before the shelter becomes the only life they know, but they can’t do it alone. These fragile puppies need donations and sponsors to give them a chance at the safe and loving future they were always meant to have.
