Black Sustainability, Inc. (BSI) is the largest global network of sustainability practitioners, businesses, and environmental advocates of African descent, mobilizing communities to build a sustainable, green economy. 

Organization Overview

• Mission: Mobilize sustainability practitioners of African descent to (re)build sustainable communities and economies that restore planetary balance.
• Representation: a global ecosystem of over 2,500 sustainability organizations and experts across the African diaspora, spanning 12 core sustainability sectors aka Industry Houses, including agriculture, alternative energy, waste, water, climate justice, cultural preservation, eco-building, etc.
• Key Programs: Black Sustainability Network (BSN), the annual Black Sustainability Summit, Global Workforce Academy (hands-on green workforce training (such as AfroEcology, solar installation & maintenance with GRID Alternatives), Learning Journey's, eInstitute and our RBG Mutual Impact Fund. 

• Direct Economic Impact: Donations fund workforce programming and culturally relevant experiential education. Any donations exceeding $100 mark will go into the RBG Mutual Impact Fund, which directly re-grants crowdsourced capital to seed member-led green businesses and community projects.
• Real Workforce Equity: Contributions scale tangible green career pathways—like solar installation training—ensuring Black communities lead the clean energy movement rather than just participate in it.
• Rooted Ancestral Wisdom: BSI bridges indigenous African and diaspora agricultural heritage with modern climate-smart regeneration to build true food sovereignty. 
• Community-Led Resilience: Your giving supports a proven, decade-long infrastructure that circulates resources internally to foster long-term self-sufficiency.
