I'm excited to be part of the Shelter Slumber Pawty, a nationwide fundraising event that brings animal lovers together for 24 hours of fun and connection right inside our shelter. During this special event, we’ll be eating, sleeping, and partying alongside our shelter residents, providing them with love and companionship.
Leading up to and during the Pawty, I'll be raising funds to support CARE's lifesaving initiatives. We'll be streaming live on social media, offering a behind-the-scenes look at shelter life and encouraging everyone to donate and cheer us on.
But we're not alone in this! Shelters across the country are joining forces, making Shelter Slumber Pawty the largest single-day fundraising event for animal welfare, all united by one mission: saving lives.

Every dollar raised will directly benefit CARE Humane Society’s transport program, which is vital for reducing euthanasia rates. By partnering with rescues in less crowded areas—where loving adopters are often already waiting—we're giving our dogs a second chance at life.
