2026 CPR Shelter Slumber Pawty 🥳

Companion Pet Rescue is participating in the nationwide Shelter Slumber Pawty again this year! 🎉 During this event, shelters across the country join together to show their communities what it's like for pets living in a shelter setting, how much work goes on behind the scenes to care for the animals, how vital volunteer power is to their organizations, and to raise money for their shelters.

As a part of this amazing event, our Pawty participants are spending 24 hours at Where Sit Happens in Quarry Walk in Oxford, CT with some wonderful, adoptable CPR pups. They'll share their experiences on their own social media platforms to raise funds for CPR! At the same time, we'll share the event on the CPR social media accounts, allowing everyone to follow along and join in the fun. Last year our Pawty raised just over $20,000 for our sweet rescue and that helped to ensure we could take in pups no matter their medical condition. This year, we've decided to really go for it and set a $30,000 goal! 

The 2026 Shelter Slumber Pawty kicks off April 18th at 1pm EST and runs for 24 hours! Pre-Pawty online fundraising is going strong and will happen through the end of the event. 

How can you join the fun? 

Join us in person for our Slumber Pawty adoption events on Saturday 4/18 from 1pm-6pm and Sunday 4/19 from 10am-1pm. 

Join in person or on Facebook (we'll be live streaming) for Bedtime Stories at Quarry Walk sponsored by Teddy's Best Reads at 7pm on Saturday. 

We have TONS of great items in our Pawty Raffle. All ticket sales go directly to CPR and you can get your tickets online or at the event. The drawings will be held on Sunday 4/19 at noon and winners don't need to be present! Check out the great prizes and get your tickets by clicking here!
