🎉 Postpartum Shower Event April 16, 2025 🎉

We are thrilled to announce the DMC Promise Foundation's First Annual Postpartum Shower Event in recognition of Black Maternal Health Week 2025. This initiative is more than an event; it's a powerful movement to celebrate and uplift Black Maternal Health. We invite you to join us in making a difference by contributing proposals, sponsorships, becoming panelists, vendors, or volunteers, or making donations. We are proud to partner with organizations like Mamananda Birth Circle, Family Tree, United Healthcare, and DMC Empowering Health Services, LLC.This event will be an essential space for Black mothers to connect, heal, and access vital postpartum resources. Attendees will benefit from expert-led discussions, hands-on workshops on postpartum care and infant wellness, a resource fair, and relaxation and community bonding opportunities.

Our theme, "Crowned in Resilience, Blooming in Beauty: Celebrating Black Mothers & The Village," beautifully captures the strength, beauty, and resilience of Black mothers. It also underscores the importance of community support for new mothers. Together, we will create a space where wisdom and resources can be shared and where offers of assistance can flourish.
