Early Giving Starts May 22nd!

Update posted 3 days ago

It's May 22nd, and that means it's early giving for the BOLD Day Of Giving.  To celebrate today, you can either create your own personal fundraising page to support a nonprofit, post about BOLD DOG on Social Media using the hashtags, #BOLDdog, #earlygiving; or make a donation to the participating nonprofit of your choice.  :)  Check out the leader boards and see who has banned together to raise funds for nonprofit missions in Humboldt County.

It's the second annual BOLD Day of Giving:  24 hours to Go BOLD, Give BOLD.

Now in our second year, Access Humboldt is spearheading this County-wide giving initiative as a rapid response to the region's current needs and shifting economy.  By providing the media, advertising, consulting, software, and 8 Step Workbook Plan, we are using our mission to support Humboldt County's Non-Profits' missions.

Special thanks to our Partners and Sponsors, we are able to inspire more giving in Humboldt County, offering critical funding of many Non-Profits, together!

To learn more about participating Non-Profits, you can watch the BOLD Day of TV on Access Humboldt's channels beginning May 1, 2026.

You can join in on the fundraising fun by creating an individual fundraiser beginning May 22nd when early giving begins. Simply click "Join This Event," select an existing team, and create your fundraising page.

When the Donate button goes live, you can find a team or individual to benefit by clicking "Donate" and selecting a participant from the drop-down menu.

Let's talk Prizes and Boosts!

When you make any donation on May 29th, it can be randomly selected for a Donor Prize or Funding Boost.  There are prizes for every hour of the 24-hour frenzy. If you want to increase your odds of winning, try donating at odd hours of the day (like 4 am).

Boosts come in the form of $100-$1,000 and come to you courtesy of our Partners and Regional Benefactors.

The Redwood Coast Energy Authority Community Resilience Match will be offered at 3pm and 9pm on May 29th.  RCEA has additional guidelines that the Participating Nonprofits must adhere to in order to qualify.  See NPO resources tab for details.
