Ending Hunger one county at a time!
The Central Jersey Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc, is on a mission to end hunger and food insecurity in Somerset, Middlesex and Union Counties. Food insecurity is affecting more people in our community than we often realize. Food prices and housing costs have risen faster than wages. These social changes have increased our neighbor's reliance on food banks and pantries.
We aim to help those families, seniors, and those who are working every day but still struggling to make ends meet. The need is growing, and even a small donation of just a few dollars can provide multiple meals and real relief to someone in need.
When we give, we are not just providing food, we are supporting health, dignity, and stability for our neighbors.

Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, is a public service organization founded January 13, 1913. Central Jersey Alumnae Chapter (CJA) of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. has and been actively engaged and involved in the communities of Union, Middlesex and Somerset Counties since it was chartered in 1975. CJA focuses on youth mentoring programs and supports academic achievements by awarding scholarships to deserving high school students who demonstrate academic excellence and community involvement.
The Central Jersey Alumnae Foundation (The Foundation), established March 15, 1996, is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) public charity whose mission is to serve Central New Jersey communities through its sponsorship and fundraising dedicated to service programming and scholarship.
