CARE'S SLUMBER PAWTY

CARE Humane Society of Auburn, AL is Pawty-ing for a Purpose! 

CARE Humane Society, located in Auburn, Alabama, is thrilled to participate in Shelter Slumber Pawty, a nationwide fundraising event bringing animal lovers together for 24 unforgettable hours inside the shelter. During this unique experience, teams of dedicated participants will eat, sleep, and pawty alongside our shelter residents—giving them comfort, companionship, and lots of love.

In the weeks leading up to the Pawty (and throughout the event itself), participants will be raising funds and building excitement to support CARE’s lifesaving work. We’ll be streaming the Pawty live on our social media channels, giving the public a behind-the-scenes look at shelter life while encouraging supporters near and far to donate and cheer us on.

And we won’t be pawty-ing alone! Shelters across the country will be joining in, making Shelter Slumber Pawty the largest single-day fundraising event for animal welfare—all united by the same mission: saving lives.

Where do the funds go?
All money raised will directly support CARE Humane Society’s transport program, a critical effort to reduce euthanasia. By partnering with rescues in less overcrowded areas—where adopters are often already waiting—we give our dogs a second chance at life.

Transporting dogs takes resources. Funds help cover:

• Vehicle maintenance and gas

• Crates, collars, food, and other supplies

• Driver pay and meals

• Veterinary care and ongoing dog care
