Alexandria Jaycees Foundation

A nonprofit organization

$11,103 raised by 81 donors

The Alexandria Jaycees were established in 1940 and served the greater Alexandria Community for 78 years.  Through the decades, the Jaycees conducted numerous memorable fundraisers such as Haunted House, Christmas Tree Sales, and Community Yard Sales.

The Alexandria Jaycees Foundation was established to carry on the legacy of the Jaycees and focuses its energy and financial resources on supporting under-served persons and organizations in Alexandria and the surrounding communities.

The Foundation is led by an all-volunteer Board of Directors consisting of past members of the Alexandria Jaycees.  The Board meets on the third Monday of each month at 7:30 PM.  Meetings are held either in-person or via teleconference.  Please contact the Foundation President for more details, via e-mail to alexjayceesfoundation@gmail.com.

The Alexandria Jaycees Foundation is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization
established to carry on the community development legacy of the
Alexandria Jaycees (Junior Chamber of Commerce).  For over 75 years, the
Jaycees served the greater Alexandria community.  The foundation continues that legacy by supporting under-served members of the community, including those with substance abuse, those in need of human services, and those seeking funds to further their education.  Your contributions make a difference by supporting these and
other worthwhile programs.
