Now, as we celebrate our 20th anniversary, we are setting our biggest North Texas Giving Day goal yet:

Why Your Support Matters

Every child has limitless potential, but opportunity is not always distributed equally.

Many of the students Beacon Hill serves live in communities where families and schools are working hard with limited resources. Academic gaps can begin early and grow quickly without access to consistent, individualized support.

Beacon Hill helps close that gap by bringing high-quality educational support directly into the communities we serve.

Through small-group, high-impact tutoring, students receive individualized instruction in reading and math designed to help them catch up, keep up, and stay ahead. Our programs combine proven curriculum, consistent assessment, caring educators, enrichment, incentives, and family engagement to support the whole student.

And the results show what can happen when students receive the right support at the right time: 9 out of 10 Beacon Hill students who consistently attend tutoring demonstrate approximately 1.5 grade levels of academic growth.

Beacon Hill began in 2004 with just nine students and a belief that every child deserved the opportunity to succeed.

Twenty years later, Beacon Hill has served more than 20,000 students.

But our work is far from finished.

As schools and families across North Texas face increasing financial and academic pressures, community support is more important than ever. Beacon Hill is adapting, expanding, and finding new ways to bring tutoring and enrichment directly to students through after-school programs, summer learning, community partnerships, and family-centered programming.
