Center for Social Sustainable Systems (CESOSS)

The Center for Social Sustainable Systems (CESOSS) is a community-rooted nonprofit working to protect and preserve land, water, acequia culture, and local knowledge in Atrisco and Albuquerque’s South Valley.

Through culturally grounded education, community organizing, and partnerships with schools, acequias, farmers, families, and public agencies, CESOSS is building an intergenerational system of learning and leadership. Our work includes the Ciclos de la Tierra educational initiative, outdoor and agricultural learning, youth leadership development, Acequia Walk & Talks, Primera Agua, water-rights education, and community projects that preserve the history and living traditions of Atrisco.

As a small nonprofit with deep community roots, CESOSS depends on individual donors, volunteers, and community partners. Your contribution helps us:
