Christmas Come True

Christmas Come True was founded 16 years ago in my guest bedroom! As we all know,  in 2009 our economy was devastated and I saw so many families going homeless and hungry. Our economy here in Flagler County is Hospitality based with very little industry or large corporations.  The impact of the crash was horrendous and widespread.  Within just a few months I was able to file for 501c-3 status and began organizing fundraising projects and events to help as many families as possible have a joyous Christmas with a personalized Christmas dinner, new clothing, toys, gifts, and bikes if needed. I went from business to business asking for anything they could help with. With the majority of small businesses suffering as well, it was amazing how they all came together to help. You can only imagine the positive impact that "Giving experience" had on these parents/ grandparents and the children?

Since 2009, we have been blessed to help over 2000 families with over 5000 children have the joy of Christmas. We have expanded our reach to help families throughout the year by providing assistance with emergencies in housing, utilities, medical, food, as well as giving furnishings and furniture to families in need. We are focused on making sure every child and parent/ grandparent has a bed and bedding. We have provided over $200,000. 00 of aid since 2012. We say we are small but mighty!

Our mission is to give underprivileged families the joy of starting the new year with the clothing and gifts they need to go forward in a positive and loving way knowing that their neighbors and strangers love and care for them. Self Esteem, Pride, Love, Selflessness, Giving, Sharing, Caring
