Dearest Supporters,

As another year in our post-Roe atmosphere ends, we want to share a bit of our busy year with our steadfast supporters and donors.

We have had no shortage of vest request this year! In fact, clinics in states that have introduced draconian anti-abortion laws have reinvented their missions and The Clinic Vest Project was there to assist. As shown on our map of the US, we have not only been asked once but several times to accommodate or amazing clients and clinics. We have shipped out 62-parcels of vests this year! The refusal by these clinics to accept certain states’ denial of reproductive bodily autonomy has kept CVP working nonstop to supply the needs of our client partners. This year, we added “Legal Observer” wording to our arsenal of vest offerings, which have been well received by our community, as were our previous additions of “Clinic Parking” vests and other designs we have created in our continued commitment to support patient protection and access to vital healthcare.

But, in my opinion, the most glorious happening this year was the honoring of our founder and fearless leader, Benita Ulisano, at the Personal PAC 30th Annual Luncheon. Benita was recognized, with other dedicated and unwavering pro-choice warriors, for years of service to the cause of reproductive freedom. It was such a privilege to be in attendance to hear all of the praise showered upon these loyal folks, especially our humble leader! Many tears were shed, hugs given and promises made to continue the fight for reproductive freedom. CVP remains relentless in its mission!

Of course, none of this would be possible without all of you! While we were thrilled this year to have our fundraising opportunities reinstated after the pandemic, we still rely on our dedicated donors to keep us going. We have placed inventory orders nearly every other month to keep up with the demand (yep, 62 parcels!) for vests. As you already may know, CVP Board is 100% volunteer so all of our donations go to purchasing inventory. We do this as a labor of love for our reproductive healthcare providers, staff and the clinic escort volunteers supporting their work.

Please consider making a tax deductible year end contribution to our cause!

With love and gratitude, Betsy Schaack, CVP VP, for Benita and our Board, Jay, Andrea, Lindsay, Elaina and Adrienne.
