Conservation Pathways Inc

A nonprofit organization

Conservation Pathways was founded to serve high school and college students interested in pursuing careers in conservation and natural resource management. By providing field research, science communication, and professional development experiences, we support future environmental leaders as they pursue their passions while simultaneously helping them become more competitive for career and college paths. Additionally, we help students passing through our local colleges and universities gain a deep appreciation for the unique biodiversity of the North Florida/South Georgia region. This understanding, and the connections they make with each other, will transfer with them and be part of the communities they serve here or in other regions.

While our focus is on the student population, our organization also serves our communities in unique ways including:

  • Providing a new generation of natural resource professionals with environmental communication skills
  • Inspiring local college students with a strong sense of place, trained with knowledge of, and passion for, our local ecology
  • Volunteers to help other community organizations and businesses with specific projects or events
  • Opportunities to engage with and inspire this next generation of conservation leaders through mentorship and professional development opportunities.
