A Little about our School

DC Scholars Public Charter School (DCSPCS) opened its doors in Ward 7 of Washington, D.C. in 2012, serving students from preschool through 3rd grade. Each year until 2018, DC Scholars PCS added another grade. Today, DC Scholars PCS serves over 530 preschool through 8th grade students in a beautiful, renovated facility. In 2015, DC Scholars PCS underwent an extensive renovation and the campus now features state of the art technology in all classrooms, a new atrium, and a stunning entrance.

DC Scholars develops life-long scholars who have the academic knowledge and skills, individual passions, and community-mindedness necessary to succeed in and contribute to an ever-changing world. We have a dedicated and experienced team of teachers during the traditional school day as well as during before and after school programming.
