Mission

Disability Rights Washington's (DRW) mission is to advance the dignity, equality, and self-determination of people with disabilities. We work to pursue justice on matters related to human and legal rights.

Description

More than 1.7 million people in Washington State have a disability. Disability Rights Washington (DRW) works to ensure each of these individuals is treated with equality, dignity, and respect for their expressed choices. DRW is the only organization in Washington State focused solely on protecting the legal rights of people with all disabilities statewide, including physical, sensory, intellectual, developmental, learning and psychiatric disabilities, and chronic illness.
