DoVE Project

DoVE Project (Dogs of Violence Exposed) is a non-profit organization focused on ending the dog meat trade in South Korea, where raising dogs for human consumption is legally sanctioned. We believe that this change ultimately must come from within. To that end, rescue efforts, education, and advocacy are the driving components of DoVE Project.

DoVE team has traveled to S. Korea 7 times since 2017, partnered with S. Korean orgs and animal rescuers, visited multiple dog meat farms and helped shut down several farms and rescued dogs from the farms.  DoVE has facilitated transports and adoptions of over thousand dogs to the US, primarily in southern California.  DoVE has about 250 "Lifers" in S. Korea that are being cared for by DoVE's rescue partner.  DoVE provides financial support to our S. Korean rescue partner.  All DoVE dogs are given "Lifetime Promise" and we take pride in keeping this promise to make sure they are always safe.
