Root Capital

Root Capital is a nonprofit that helps small businesses in farming communities in places like Latin America, Africa, and Southeast Asia. We provide these businesses with loans, training, and advice so they can grow and help local farmers earn a better living. Our goal is to support businesses that make life better for farmers while also protecting the environment and supporting women. Since 1999, Root Capital has worked with over 750 businesses, helping improve the lives of over 10 million people in areas that need it the most.

We give farming businesses the financial support and tools they need to sell their products around the world and grow stronger. Root Capital helps them when banks can’t, offering special loans and training to help them succeed. Whether we’re supporting eco-friendly farming or teaching business skills, we’re working to create a better future for these communities.
