ETTA Arts and The Rainbow Players has been creating serious access to the Arts for more than 25 years!  We believe in Empowerment Through The Arts: training experiences offered to all abilities.  We know that all human beings are Whole and that creating access to self-expression mends the past to shape a better future.

Over 25 years, beginning in 1999, The Rainbow Players have shared stories of bullying and the triumph of standing strong, Not Allowing the Bully to Define Us.  Our Social Justice Theater original productions have traveled to Ireland twice (2004, 2005); to Omaha and Chicago to present at Social Justice conferences (2008, 2009); to be invited to perform with another theater troupe at the Summer Olympics in the UK (2012 ).  We have continued creating collaborative ground-breaking theater: site specific- "A Hero's Journey" on the grounds of the Belchertown State School *for the Feeble-Minded* (2021) ; and a Festival of Climate Activist Groups and Performing artists at the Hitchcock Center for the Environment in Amherst, MA (2022) and continuing to perform an original production- "Habitat Habitat- From the Animals Point of View" at the Eric Carle Museum (2023).

We believe in:

• Taking bold steps toward creating unquestioned access to inclusive arts experiences and programs.

• Empowering all individuals, regardless of ethnicity, culture, sexual orientation/gender identity, or ability, to realize their creative potential as Artists.

1. Sharing the pathway and skills to making theater from a social justice collaborative process with local groups of people with lived experience of disability; 
2. Hosting a Festival of Brilliants: An Performing and Visual Arts Festival of local New England artists, to be presented on the grounds of the same institution which housed people with disability labels from 1922-1972: Belchertown State School. (BSS) Spring 2025.

We achieve this through a wide range of inclusive collaborations to help youth and adults of ALL abilities, imagine & create; share their unique Brilliance with others to Shift the Mindset.
