About the Endurant Movement
Where Love Transforms Loss into Light
Our story begins in the depths of unimaginable grief—and transforms into a beacon of hope for thousands.
On March 24, 2024, we lost our brilliant 16-year-old son, Anthony—"Ant" to everyone who knew him. Autistic, vibrant, and deeply loved, Ant saw the world differently. But like too many neurodivergent young people, he fought silent battles that the world couldn't see. His suicide shattered our universe—and opened our eyes to a crisis hiding in plain sight.
In his final conversations, Ant was adamant about one thing: "It needs to be suicide prevention. We need to talk about suicide." Even in his darkest moments, our son was thinking about saving others.
A Promise Kept, A Movement Born
The Endurant Movement isn't just another nonprofit—it's Anthony's final wish brought to life. Founded by parents Neal and Samara Tricarico in 2025, we've channeled our devastating loss into unstoppable purpose, creating the support system our son needed but never found.
We discovered that autistic individuals face suicide rates nearly ten times higher than the general population, yet specialized support remains virtually nonexistent. The intersection of autism, mental health, and suicide prevention—where our son lived and struggled—was an overlooked crisis waiting for champions.
Beyond Surviving: The Power to Endure and Transform
"EndurANT" isn't just clever wordplay—it embodies our core belief that even in life's most brutal storms, humans possess an extraordinary capacity to not just survive, but to transform pain into purpose. We call this post-traumatic growth, and it's the heartbeat of everything we do.
Through raw storytelling, authentic community, and unflinching vulnerability, we create safe harbors for those navigating grief, neurodiversity, and mental health challenges. Our approach is revolutionary in its simplicity: nobody should face their darkest moments alone.
Our Impact Arsenal
A Legacy of Light
Every day, we carry Ant's memory forward—not as a burden of grief, but as a torch of transformation. His struggles illuminate the path for others. His loss becomes their lifeline. His story ensures that other families won't walk this journey alone.
We believe that even in the aftermath of devastating loss, healing is possible. Purpose can emerge. Communities can rise. And love—the fierce, unstoppable love of parents, families, and advocates—can reshape the world for those who need it most.
At the Endurant Movement, we don't just honor our son's legacy. We're building the future he envisioned—where mental health conversations happen openly, where neurodivergent individuals are celebrated and supported, and where no parent has to endure what we've endured.
Because when we endure together, we don't just survive—we transform the world.
Join us.
Not because you have to, but because together, we can ensure that Ant's final wish—and the wishes of countless others like him—finally comes true.
