Ethiopian Community Association of Chicago Inc

The Ethiopian Community Association of Chicago (ECAC) is a community-based nonprofit organization located in Chicago’s West Ridge neighborhood, where it serves as both a community hub and one of Chicago’s refugee resettlement agencies.  Founded to serve the thousands who came to Chicago from Ethiopia in the 1980s, today ECAC serves immigrants and refugees of all nationalities and cultural backgrounds with Reception and Placement (R&P) support services, specialized resettlement case management programs, employment preparation and placement, culturally relevant youth programming, and adult education classes and training for ESL learners and job seekers in manufacturing.
