According to the latest report by the Chicago Coalition for the Homeless, there is an estimated 68,440 experiencing homelessness in Chicago. Facing Forward helps families and individuals in Chicago break the generational cycle of homelessness by offering home, help and hope.
We recognize that a safe and stable home is both an immediate need and a foundation from which all other needs can be met. Our programs provide long-term, stable housing and individualized services aimed at improving stability, mental and physical health, and life skills. Using a Two-Generation approach, we ensure all members the households we serve have access to the support and resources needed to leave experiences of homelessness behind. Facing Forward served nearly 3,000 children and adults just last year.
