Fatherhood Coalition of Tarrant County

FATHERHOOD COALITION MISSION STATEMENT:  To increase public awareness and recognition of the value of responsible fatherhood and provide assistance to organizations serving fathers.

 FATHERHOOD COALITION VISION STATEMENT:  To have strong responsible fathers, men and families involved in the lives of children in Tarrant County.

Organized initially as a “fatherhood initiative” in 2000 by Workforce Solutions for Tarrant County, officially became the “Fatherhood Coalition of Tarrant County” in 2001, forming a voluntary association of community-based representatives. Bylaws, mission, and vision statements were established to provide guidance to purpose and activities. Established as a nonprofit organization in 2022, the Fatherhood Coalition serves fathers, parents, families and children residing in Tarrant County. In addition to serving as a central point of contact for resources and information about responsible parenting and fatherhood issues, member organizations host and sponsor numerous community events and resource fairs designed to enhance quality of life issues and the economic stability of Tarrant County families and children.
