Fetch Cares

Fetch Cares is a nonprofit organization located in Kamas, Utah, that was founded by the Saylor family in 2017 to rescue and provide care for dogs with special needs, whether due to disabilities, medical conditions or age. Most of our Fetch Cares dogs were relinquished by their owners to veterinarians for euthanasia, due to serious injuries or illnesses that required immediate medical attention.  In most of these cases, the owners were unable to provide the necessary care due to financial or other constraints. In a situation where the dog's prognosis is favorable, Fetch Cares will rescue the dog by assuming the cost of the necesssary medical treatment and then providing rehabilitation and care for the dog until it can be adopted into a loving forever family.        

In addition, Fetch Cares provides hospice care for aging and terminally ill dogs that do not have families that can attend to their needs. We strongly believe that all dogs deserve the appropriate care needed for them to be comfortable and happy until they are ready to cross the rainbow bridge. 

Although this mission is extremely taxing, both physically and emotionally, we feel that it is our calling and, thankfully, we are in a position to take on the challenge. However, caring for dogs with these types of conditions is a very expensive endeavor. Thanks to the generous support of our community, we have been able to save many dogs and provide them with wonderful homes. One of the mottos that we live by is that “it takes a village,” and we are very thankful to have the Park City community as part of our village. 

All funds raised through Live PC Give PC are used to support the care of the Fetch Cares dogs. Fetch Cares operates solely on donations and the efforts of volunteers. On behalf of the Fetch Cares crew and the dogs whose lives you’re helping to save, thank you!
