Fit to Recover's (FTR) mission is to provide a safe space and community where people in recovery can find and maintain healthy, sober lifestyles through our four foundational pillars: Fitness, Nutrition, Creative Arts, and Community Service. Our objective is to connect with and guide members battling substance use disorder (SUD) and co-occurring mental health disorder (COD) by using evidence-based, trauma-informed approaches.

  

Fit to Recover thrives because of community support. Thanks to our members, partnering organizations, and sponsors, 2026 was a year of growth and expanded impact. We are honored to serve the recovery community, and grateful for everyone we work alongside. We are determined to build upon the momentum we've created in 2026. Please donate to our Giving Tuesday Campaign to ensure we make an even bigger impact in 2027.

 

At FTR, we know long-term recovery is possible through safety, connection, and community. Nobody can fight addiction or mental illness alone, and FTR is here to make sure that nobody has to. 

These are uncertain times. Cost of living is skyrocketing, social services are being slashed, and our collective mental health is under tremendous strain. The most vulnerable members of our community are being disproportionately affected by financial and environmental stressors, and nonprofit organizations like FTR face decreased funding and resources. Now, as much as ever, we need community. Please donate to our mission.
