Flourish Therapy exists to expand access to affordable, culturally competent, and evidence-based mental health care for LGBTQIA2S+ individuals, couples, and their families.

Since opening our doors in 2017, we have remained a leading provider of affirming care in Utah, and we continue to be the only organization offering sliding scale therapy services specifically tailored to the needs of this community. Our mission has never wavered.

LGBTQIA+ individuals, especially our trans community, are navigating an increasingly challenging political and social environment. Many of our clients are facing heightened stigma, isolation, and fear, often while living in communities where affirming support is limited or nonexistent. For those at the intersection of identity and faith, the need for culturally competent care is even more critical.

At Flourish, cultural competence means more than inclusion- it means understanding. Many of our clinicians share lived or professional experience with both LGBTQIA2S+ and religious communities, including the LDS community. This allows us to support clients navigating deeply personal and complex intersections of identity with empathy, understanding, and respect.

Today, we serve clients across all of Utah and in 14 additional states through teletherapy, significantly expanding access for individuals in rural and underserved communities, many of whom would otherwise have no access to affirming care at all.

The need is growing. The barriers are real. And the stakes are high.
