Friends of the Library Mission Statement

“To stimulate the use of the facilities of the library and encourage reading. To further the cultural life of New Fairfield in literature, the arts, sciences, and public affairs by means of exhibits, public meetings, discussion groups, and similar activities.”

We are people like YOU! We are friends and neighbors, parents and grandparents. 

We have a passion for helping people enjoy and learn in our library. We support contributing to literacy and educating children and adults in our community. We believe that a quality library contributes to better-prepared students, business owners, and workers. Our members understand that enrichment benefits all of us personally and as a society.
