Friends of Wisconsin State Parks Inc

The Friends of Wisconsin State Parks (501 (c)(3)) is the umbrella to over 60 Friends groups throughout the state of Wisconsin who volunteer, educate, and enhance an associated Wisconsin state park, forest, trail, natural area, preserve.

The FWSP supplies well over $100,000 in monies towards incentive grants for our friends. These monies provide education programs, stewardship/maintenance projects, and even help hire LTE employees to keep up with high visitor numbers. FACT: Wisconsin public lands garner over 20 million visitors annually.

These spaces are facing dire challenges. Only receiving funds through user fees (campsite reservations and park pass sales), it is dependent on us to raise money and help in taking care of these properties.

Help support the places that all of us consider "home away from home." A space where every person can find adventure, connection, restoration, and belonging.
