Girls PREP Inc

Girls PREP, Inc. is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that empowers Black and Latina women aged 16-21 through mentorship and personalized support through technology. We aim to ensure these young women succeed academically, build promising futures, and become community leaders. We provide year-round programming and 1:1 mentorship support at no cost to the Protégés or Mentors to alleviate barriers to access.  The numbers keep us inspired: 

• 100% college graduation rate of Proteges served by Girls PREP since 2011.  
• In 2023, (8) Proteges are active, paired with Mentor, and are enrolled full-time in undergraduate programs. 
• Research shows that young adults with a mentor are 130% more likely to hold leadership positions.
